About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Reporter to join our award-winning news team in Pittsburgh. This role is designed for a versatile journalist who thrives in a fast-paced broadcast environment. You will be a key voice on-air, responsible for producing and recording news segments, anchoring multi-hour shifts, and delivering live coverage during breaking news events.

Your day will involve a dynamic mix of street reporting, conducting interviews with news makers, and writing scripts that require both precision and the ability to ad-lib. You will also manage the station's social media platforms to update and engage our community. As a member of this team, you will operate audio equipment, deliver traffic reports for multiple stations, and make station appearances as required. This position is ideal for someone with a strong writing style, captivating delivery, and a deep knowledge of the local broadcast area and station demographics.
