About the Role
Southern Health Partners Inc is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver vital healthcare services within correctional facilities. This role exists to ensure that incarcerated patients receive high-quality, safe, and compliant medical care, bridging the gap between clinical needs and the unique environment of correctional settings.
In this position, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to promoting safety, infection control, and quality documentation. Your day-to-day involves performing patient assessments, administering medications, and supporting chronic care and sick call protocols. You will respond to medical emergencies with precision, collaborate closely with RNs, providers, and correctional staff to coordinate care, and educate patients on their health conditions and self-care. The role requires a strong commitment to regulatory compliance and the ability to navigate the specific challenges of forensic nursing procedures.
