About the Role
As a Part-Time Container Delivery Driver, you will be the face of PODS at customer locations, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery and pickup of moving containers. This role is essential to ensuring customers have a seamless experience from start to finish. You will operate a commercial truck equipped with a patented lift mechanism, handling the loading and unloading of containers while maintaining excellent rapport with clients.
Your day involves coordinating rental paperwork and payments directly with customers, verifying deliveries using handheld computers, and ensuring all equipment is clean and presentable. You will also perform daily vehicle inspections, conduct minor repairs on containers and lifts in the field, and maintain the cleanliness of the truck cab. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while staying connected with your Driver Lead or Market Manager to resolve any customer questions or issues.
