Part-Time Cashier/Stocker

ALDI is seeking enthusiastic team members to join our stores as part-time cashiers and stockers. These roles are vital to maintaining smooth store operations and delivering an excellent shopping experience for our customers. Whether you are ensuring efficient checkout service or keeping our shelves stocked and organized, your work directly contributes to the store's success and customer satisfaction.

Position Details

This is a part-time opportunity with an average schedule of fewer than 30 hours per week. The starting wage is $19.00 per hour, with scheduled increases in subsequent years. Please note that specific benefits, such as medical and vacation time, are typically reserved for full-time employees (those averaging 30 or more hours per week), though part-time staff may have access to select perks like our 401(k) plan and Employee Assistance Program.

What to Expect

As a cashier, you will be the face of the store, utilizing our point-of-sale systems to process purchases accurately and managing curbside pickup orders. As a stocker, you will ensure our merchandise is displayed neatly according to planograms, which may require arriving as early as 5:00 AM. Both roles require physical activity, including lifting up to 45 pounds, operating various equipment like floor scrubbers and pallet jacks, and working in varying temperatures, including freezer and cooler environments.
