Chesapeake Treatment Center is a 29-bed residential facility dedicated to serving adolescent males in Parkville, MD, located near Towson. Our mission is to provide a supportive environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
We are seeking a Part-time Business Teacher who is dually certified (or eligible) in both General Education and Special Education. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student as outlined in their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or Personal Education Plan (PEP).
You will work with students in grades 6th through 12th, applying your expertise in special education to foster their growth. Under the supervision of the Director of Education, you will implement individual education plans while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our curriculum and Maryland State-wide learning outcome goals. A key part of your day will involve maintaining appropriate behavior management skills within the scope of our school-wide Behavior Management Program, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment for all residents.
