About the Role
As a second shift Caregiver (2pm-10pm), you will support residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, socialization, cognition, and physical health. Your role is to encourage resident independence, support resident choice, and preserve resident dignity through professional conduct and interactions. You will be expected to exhibit a positive customer service attitude, demonstrate personal initiative to complete work without constant supervision, and maintain consistent work attendance. Effective communication, including careful listening and sensitive responses, is essential, as is the strict confidentiality of resident and staff information. You will also participate in facility in-services and help new staff learn job tasks and responsibilities.
