About the Role
We are seeking a skilled PACU RN to provide exceptional post-anesthesia care in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be the critical link between surgery and recovery, assessing and monitoring patients as they emerge from anesthesia. Your primary focus will be managing pain and airways, administering IV medications, and responding swiftly to any changes in a patient's condition.
You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader care team to ensure safe discharges and strong patient outcomes. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in educating patients and families on post-operative care while mentoring new staff to foster a culture of teamwork and communication.
