About the Role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated PACU RN to deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to surgical patients. This role is critical for ensuring safe recovery and discharge, serving as the bridge between the operating room and the patient's next phase of healing.
In this position, you will assess, monitor, and stabilize patients emerging from anesthesia. Your day will involve managing pain and sedation, collaborating closely with surgeons and anesthesia providers, and upholding strict infection control and safety standards. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in educating patients and families on post-operative expectations, medications, and follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleAdminister and titrate IV medications, fluids, and analgesia per provider orders and protocols
- check_circleCollaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate safe recovery and discharge
- check_circleDocument assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the EHR
- check_circleEducate patients and families on post-operative expectations, medications, and follow-up care

Requirements
