About the Role

We are seeking a PACU Nurse to join our ambulatory surgery center. This role is vital to ensuring safe and effective nursing care rendered postoperatively until the patient is dismissed from the facility. You will be part of a team that contributes to our legacy of employing nurses who actively support the company's mission and vision. Working in a team-oriented environment with modern technology, you will help ensure that each patient receives the best possible experience.

check_circleMonitor patient vital signs, temperature, and cardiac status according to policy
check_circlePrepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available
check_circleCheck dressings and operative sites, reporting any abnormalities to the surgeon
check_circleEnsure patients meet all discharge criteria before leaving the facility
check_circleInsert, maintain, and remove IV catheters and saline locks using proper technique
check_circlePerform and document head-to-toe patient evaluations using approved scoring systems
check_circleProvide a safe and comforting environment for patients and their families

Requirements

verifiedAssociate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing
