This PACU Nurse role is designed for those passionate about the patient experience. You will join a legacy of nurses who contribute directly to our company's mission and vision by ensuring safe and effective nursing care postoperatively until the patient is dismissed from the facility.
In this position, you will create a safe and comforting environment for patients and their families. Your expertise will be vital in managing the transition from surgery to recovery, utilizing approved scoring systems for head-to-toe evaluations and monitoring vital signs, temperature, and cardiac status. You will work closely with surgeons to report abnormalities and ensure patients meet all discharge criteria, embodying the warmth, compassion, and dignity that Dr. Thomas Frist, Sr., our Co-Founder, championed: "The great hospitals will always put the patient and the patient's family first."
