About the Role

As a PACU RN, you will serve as a vital link in the patient journey, ensuring safe and effective nursing care postoperatively until the patient is dismissed. check_circleDemonstrate proper airway management techniques for postoperative patients
check_circleMonitor patient vital signs, temperature, and cardiac status according to policy
check_circlePrepare patient care areas and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available
check_circleCheck dressings and operative sites, reporting any abnormalities to the surgeon
check_circleEnsure patients meet all discharge criteria before leaving the facility
check_circleInsert, maintain, and remove IV catheters and saline locks using proper technique
check_circlePerform and document head-to-toe patient evaluations using approved scoring systems
check_circleProvide a safe and comforting environment for patients and their families

Requirements

verifiedAssociate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing
verified1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
