Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through independent judgment and collaboration
- check_circleEstablish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and healthcare providers to achieve desired patient outcomes
- check_circleIdentify patient and family needs for education and provide basic education to support the episode of care
- check_circleParticipate in journal clubs and utilize evidence-based practice to improve clinical quality and safety
- check_circleAssess patient data reflective of status and interpret information to identify requirements relative to age-specific needs
- check_circleProvide care needs as described in department policy and procedures for autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders
- check_circleFormulate care plans that consider individual patient needs and age-specific requirements
- check_circleCommunicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient status and care delivery
Requirements
- verifiedCRNP: Approved nurse practitioner program completion, current state RN license, CRNP certification, national certification eligible for PA board, current CPR, Act 34 Clearance
- verifiedPA: ARC-PA accredited program graduate, current state PA license, NCCPA certification, current CPR, Act 34 Clearance
- verifiedBSN or MS preferred for CRNP
- verifiedBS or MS candidate preferred for PA
Nice to Have
BSN or MSN degree for Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners; BS or MS degree for Physician Assistants; professional nursing experience and/or nurse practitioner experience for Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners; experience as a physician assistant and/or experience in a clinical setting for Physician Assistants.
