UPMC's Center for Community Hospitalist Medicine supports hospitalist teams across nine distinct sites. We are seeking a Full-Time Floater Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will float across our various CCHM locations, serving as a vital member of the care delivery team. Your primary focus will be rounding in the hospital, where you will apply independent judgment and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
This position is designed for professionals who are ready to set standards for the level and quality of care while building collaborative relationships with patients, families, and the broader medical community. You will manage patient care activities for a group of patients, demonstrating a commitment to the community and your healthcare profession. The role encompasses the beginnings of leadership, partnership, and supervision, allowing you to grow your career path while contributing to the success of the hospitalist teams.

Candidates will be placed according to their years and months of experience. This position is dependent upon the successful attainment and maintenance of hospital privileges, if applicable to the specific business unit.
