Our owner is also a driver, so we understand the day-to-day realities of the road. We are committed to supporting our drivers with fair compensation and a clear path to home time.
You will operate as a Contract Driver (1099, Solo) hauling Flatbed trailers on Over-The-Road (OTR) routes. This role averages 2,100 to 3,000 miles per week. A key aspect of the job involves tarping, which accounts for 25% of your duties; however, you will not be responsible for loading or unloading the freight. If you lack prior Flatbed experience, we provide training to get you started.
Drivers earn $75 per tarp load, with a gross weekly average of $1,500 to $2,100. The pay structure includes a CPM rate of $0.70. We offer a schedule designed for work-life balance: you can expect to be out for 5 to 10 days at a time, though you are welcome to stay out longer if you choose. Our home time policy provides 2 days of home time for every 5 days worked, ensuring you are home at least two weekends per month.
We offer a paid orientation for new hires. Please note that while drivers are provided their own room during orientation, the company does not cover accommodation, meals, or travel expenses.
We are an equal opportunity employer.
Work model: On-site
