About the Role
This position is for a Company Driver operating solo on a regional route. You will be responsible for hauling a variety of trailer types, including log trailers, intermodal containers, dry vans, refrigerated units, and flatbeds. The role involves line haul operations with significant hands-on involvement: drivers are expected to handle 33% of load and unload duties and 50% tarping.
A Hazmat endorsement is a plus for this position. The average weekly mileage ranges between 2,500 and 3,000 miles, with an expected average pay of $1,500 per week. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.
Home Time
The schedule is designed to provide regular time off. Drivers can expect to be out for 7 days at a time, earning 2 days of home time for every 7 days worked. Additionally, the schedule ensures that drivers are home for at least one weekend per month.
Hiring Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Class A license without specific restrictions, including (L,Z) Air Brakes, (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer, or (K) Intrastate Only. Applicants must also possess at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience.
