About the Team
Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed provider group of Dignity Health Arizona. We employ approximately 350 providers and 850 support staff covering a wide variety of specialties. Over the past few years, our medical group has achieved tremendous success, now providing more than 73 sub-specialty services. Our physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) deliver clinical services in their areas of expertise, with many serving in pivotal academic research and leadership roles. We are heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers, complementing our clinical services with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssist with inpatient management of orthopedic patients including preoperative, perioperative and postoperative care
- check_circleFirst assist in orthopedic surgeries
- check_circleRound on inpatients and coordinate interdisciplinary care with Medical and Trauma teams
- check_circleConsult on ER patients to provide diagnosis, plan of care and referrals
- check_circleOrder, interpret and analyze diagnostic tests
- check_circlePrescribe and administer medications and physical therapy as necessary
- check_circleServe as rotating 24-hour first call for the Orthopedic service
- check_circleParticipate in quality assurance and quality improvement for patient care
Requirements
- verifiedPA-C degree from accredited program
- verifiedAZ Physician Assistant License
- verifiedNCCPA certification
- verifiedValid DEA registration
- verified3+ years Trauma experience
- verifiedMSN degree from accredited program
- verifiedCompact state or Arizona RN license
- verifiedArizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
- verifiedNP certification (NP-AACN, NP-AANP, or NP-ANCC)
- verifiedValid DEA registration
- verifiedRNFA certification
- verified3+ years Trauma experience
