About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our traveling Ortho team. In this role, you will be an essential partner to the Orthodontist, ensuring patients are comfortable and providing a second set of hands during procedures. Your presence helps the Orthodontist clearly identify problems and track changes within a patient's mouth.

Your day will involve preparing patients for treatment, taking x-rays of the jaw bone structure, and capturing photographs of teeth. You will assist in keeping the patient's mouth clean and dry while handing the Orthodontist the necessary tools at the appropriate moments. Beyond clinical duties, you will engage in patient education, explaining procedures and discussing treatment progress and plans. This position encompasses all aspects of clinical dental care.

Work Environment & Culture

As a traveling assistant, you will move between various offices, with mileage reimbursement provided for your travel.
