St. Luke's is proud of the skills, experience, and compassion of its employees, who are our most valuable asset. Individually and together, our team is dedicated to satisfying the mission of our organization: an unwavering commitment to excellence as we care for the sick and injured, educate physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, and improve access to care in the communities we serve, regardless of a patient's ability to pay for healthcare.
The Oral Surgery Scheduling Coordinator serves as a vital link between our patients, physician offices, and the clinical team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling all patients requiring appointments across any of our office locations. Because you will frequently interact with both physicians and patients, acting in a courteous and professional manner at all times is essential.
Your day will involve capturing necessary information to pre-register patients, clearly instructing them on where to report and what to bring, and accurately completing the scheduling process. You will collect and verify demographic, insurance, and medical information, entering all data into our computer systems and making updates as necessary. Additionally, you will prepare required materials for distribution to appropriate departments, communicate any scheduling challenges to the Clinical Coordinator or Department Manager, and assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory supplies. This role requires you to demonstrate our core values and Service Excellence Standards in every interaction with internal and external customers while maintaining strict confidentiality and adhering to safety policies.
To apply, please complete your application using your full legal name and current home address. Be sure to include your employment history for the past seven (7) years, including your present employer. We encourage you to upload a current resume that details all work history, education, and any applicable certifications or licenses. It is highly recommended that you create a profile at the conclusion of submitting your first application.
