About the Role
The RN Circulator serves as a vital member of the surgical team, assuming full responsibility and accountability for the nursing care of patients throughout the surgical process. Working within a Center dedicated to surgical excellence, this role requires close collaboration with diverse healthcare providers to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient outcomes.
As a part-time team member, you will work Monday through Thursday, with specific days rotating based on the facility's block schedule. In this capacity, you will monitor patients continuously, manage critical equipment including fluid lines, tubes, drains, and catheters, and provide support for operative extremities. The role demands sound clinical judgment, particularly in emergency situations, and the ability to make independent decisions regarding patient care needs while communicating effectively with the broader team.
Qualifications & Culture
We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and holds a current state RN license. Candidates must possess CPR and ACLS certifications and have a minimum of one year of experience in the Operating Room. While experience in orthopedic surgery is preferred, a strong team-player attitude and the ability to utilize work time efficiently are essential for success in this environment.
