Located at the Braidwood Nuclear Power Station in Braceville, Illinois, this position serves as a critical component of our clean energy center. We are seeking an Operations Training Instructor or Senior Operations Training Instructor to join our team. This is a multi-level role that can be filled at either the Instructor or Senior Instructor level, depending on your experience and qualifications.
In this role, you will demonstrate mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge to carry out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of plant-specific nuclear licensed operations training programs. You will drive the clean energy center and personnel performance improvement through the use of training, coordinating and conducting performance-based Reactor Operator and Non-Licensed Operator training programs. Your work ensures that training programs remain current, incorporating insights from significant operating experience reports, regulatory bulletins, and design changes. You will also prepare trainee examinations, conduct evaluations in classroom and simulator environments, and develop individualized training programs to support our fleet's operational excellence.
