The Operations Lead (Part-Time) serves as a vital support to the Operations Manager, ensuring that store processes and the active selling culture adhere to documented company standards designed to drive sales. This role is essential for maintaining operational readiness across all aspects of the store, from opening and closing procedures to training and task delegation.
As an Operations Lead, you will be the backbone of the warehouse-format store, demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. The position requires a high level of enthusiasm and physical capability, involving vigorous lifting, carrying, and moving around the store to stock products and maintain a neat, clean, and organized environment.
Your day will be dynamic, balancing administrative coordination with hands-on execution. You will perform all store opening and closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution while managing troubleshooting, housekeeping, and the security of building assets and team members. You will coordinate directly with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness, aligning labor models with traffic, sales goals, and customer experience standards.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to Task Management, where you plan and execute daily and weekly zone workloads. You will assign tasks to the team to deliver on store and department goals, ensuring efficient completion. You will also drive productivity by training, coaching, and appraising results, leveraging daily team huddles to communicate and teach topics that enhance the customer experience.
Physically, you will be active throughout the shift, participating in all freight processes for incoming goods and transitions. This includes processing freight, sorting, and stocking products on shelves, including down stocking and end cap maintenance. You will support the store team in areas such as customer satisfaction, inventory control, safety, and loss prevention, ensuring the store operates effectively and profitably.
Candidates selected for this role must be available for open shifts, including nights and weekends. The selection process includes a mandatory background check to ensure the integrity and safety of the team and customers.
We are committed to creating a work environment that is smart, scrappy, safe, and fun. We value reliable and trustworthy role models who do the right thing for the team, the customer, and the company in all situations.
