About the Role
The Energy Analyst plays a pivotal role in the financial oversight and consumption performance of the organization's utility portfolio. This position is designed to transform raw utility data into actionable insights that drive cost avoidance and operational efficiency. You will focus on monthly bill analysis to identify usage trends, investigate P&L variances, and ensure rate accuracy.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner, using your analytical skills to see the big picture and determine the fundamental parts of complex problems. You will prepare and deliver insights and recommendations based on deep analyses of sales, financial data, and consumer trends. Your work will directly support decision-making for Directors and upper management by interpreting data through the lens of statistics and industry procedures. You will also facilitate problem-solving sessions with multiple groups to execute core operations projects and process improvements.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role will typically report to an Operations Process Manager or Business Manager. The position involves occasional overnight travel (less than 10% of the time) and is based in a comfortable indoor environment.
