About the Role
The Reach Truck Driver (1st Shift) is a critical operational role designed to ensure the safe and efficient movement of palletized inventory within our warehouse and distribution center. This position focuses on navigating narrow aisles and accessing elevated storage locations up to 30 feet high, maintaining a balance of precision, speed, and strict adherence to safety standards.
In this role, you will be the primary operator for our reach truck forklifts, managing the flow of materials from loading docks to high-rack storage systems. Your day-to-day involves transporting, loading, unloading, and stacking materials with a focus on accuracy and inventory integrity. Beyond equipment operation, you will play a key part in maintaining a clean, organized work environment and supporting workflow by assisting with inventory counts and order staging as needed.
Work Environment
This position is based in an indoor warehouse or distribution center characterized by narrow aisles and high rack storage systems. The role requires extended periods of standing, lifting, bending, and operating powered industrial equipment. Safety is paramount; you will be expected to follow all OSHA standards and company policies while performing daily equipment inspections and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns immediately.
