About the Role
This position is designed for a passionate Operating Room RN ready to float between our Eastern region surgery centers, specifically the Surgery Center of Plano and McKinney Surgery Center. This role exists to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients undergoing ambulatory surgery, from the initial instrument setup through to the transfer to recovery.
As a member of the North Texas Float Pool, you will be an integral part of a team that values the patient experience above all. You will contribute your expertise in both circulating and scrub roles, facilitating efficient transitions between procedures and anticipating the specific needs of surgeons. Your day will involve managing patient care and medications, assisting with anesthesia, and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate in accordance with strict protocols.
