This position offers an opportunity to jump-start your career as an Operating Room RN in an ambulatory surgery center. You will be an integral part of a team that values caring like family, contributing your expertise in either the circulating or scrub role. Your primary mission is to ensure safe and effective nursing care from the moment a patient enters your care until they are transferred to recovery.
In this role, you will oversee instrument and equipment setup, utilizing preference cards to anticipate surgeons' needs. You will coordinate the room during surgical cases, facilitate efficient transitions between procedures, and manage patient care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia. A key part of your day involves ensuring chart completeness in accordance with documentation protocols while utilizing appropriate body mechanics to prevent injury during patient transfers.
