This position is designed for a passionate Operating Room RN ready to jump-start their career in an ambulatory surgery setting. You will serve as a vital member of our team, contributing your expertise in either the circulating or scrub role to ensure safe and effective nursing care from the start of the procedure until the patient is transferred to recovery.
In this role, you will oversee instrument and equipment setup, utilizing preference cards to anticipate surgeon needs. You will coordinate the room during cases, facilitate efficient transitions between procedures, and manage patient care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia. Your focus will be on maintaining safety through appropriate body mechanics and ensuring chart completeness in accordance with documentation protocols.
