OFCI Manager (Owner's Representative)

About the Role

As an OFCI (Owner Furnished, Contractor Installed) Equipment Manager, you will serve as the critical bridge between owner-provided assets and the construction lifecycle. Your mission is to ensure that specialized equipment is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while effectively managing the complex interfaces between vendors, design teams, and on-site construction crews.

In this role, you will oversee the entire journey of the equipment—from defining scope and procurement strategies to managing logistics, installation, and commissioning. You will act as the primary point of contact for manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to strict safety, environmental, and quality protocols. Your day-to-day involves mitigating risks such as supply chain disruptions or component obsolescence, coordinating Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs, and providing technical guidance to ensure seamless integration with other project components.

Beyond execution, you will drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency in equipment management and by fostering a culture of quality and safety across all OFCI-related activities. You will also play a key educational role, offering training to personnel on the proper use and maintenance of the equipment you manage.
