As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well and bring their power back. You will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You are a healer and a helper, equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. Your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.
You will be adaptable to the needs of the patient and find joy in the variety of the work and the settings. As a teammate, you will look for collaboration with your peers and make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive. Being an Occupational Therapy Assistant means putting patients first, ensuring patients and their families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.
