About the Role
As a Home Health Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA), you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy to patients to help restore them to their fullest physical ability. You will work within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant, following state-specific laws and the treatment plans defined by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Your day will involve instructing and aiding patients in evidence-based treatments, observing and reporting patient responses to the care team, and educating patients, families, and caregivers on therapy areas. You will function in diverse home situations, adapting to the unique needs of every client regardless of their background or condition.
