About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in various settings, including inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health scenarios. In this role, you will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to support patients across all ages. Your day will involve assisting therapists in implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic activities like stretches and exercises, and adapting to varying treatment scenarios as needed.
You will play a vital part in the patient journey by recording progress, reporting findings to the supervising therapist, and educating patients and their families on home programs and discharge plans. Maintaining equipment and ensuring the treatment area remains clean and organized are also key aspects of this position.
Hiring Process
Interested candidates should submit their application with proof of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure. CPR certification is preferred.
