About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in various settings, including inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health scenarios. In this role, you will work under the supervision of an occupational therapist to support patients across all ages. Your day will involve assisting therapists in implementing treatment plans, guiding patients through therapeutic activities like stretches and exercises, and educating patients and their families on home programs and discharge plans. You will also be responsible for recording patient progress, maintaining equipment, and ensuring treatment areas remain clean and organized. This position requires adaptability to varying treatment scenarios as you transition between hospital and home environments.
