This position is responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of occupational therapy services. The role focuses on conditions and health diagnoses, implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients and patient groups in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy and established department objectives.\n You will work with patients ranging from infants to geriatrics, developing and implementing individualized treatment programs based on comprehensive evaluations. Your day will involve gathering data from patient records, interviews, and observations to establish and modify intervention goals. You will provide direct therapy services using various functional settings, planning care that aligns with the patient's physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities.
Collaboration is central to this role. You will communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient status and progress. Additionally, you will play a key role in enhancing professional growth by participating in educational programs, sharing new knowledge with colleagues, and evaluating clinical internships with students from various universities and colleges.
