At Memorial Hermann, we pursue a common goal of delivering high quality, efficient care while creating exceptional experiences for every member of our community. When we say every member of our community, that includes our employees. We know that when our employees feel cared for, heard, and valued, they are inspired to create moments that exceed expectations, while prioritizing safety, compassion, personalization, and efficiency.
If you want to advance your career and contribute to our vision of creating healthier communities, now and for generations to come, we want you to be a part of our team.
This position is designed to ensure clinical excellence within an assigned work group or for a specific patient population. Beyond direct patient care, you will serve as a vital resource and mentor for staff, students, and volunteers. Your role involves assisting in the setup of educational programs, providing input for program development, and acting as a resource for community education and marketing.
You will be responsible for overseeing assigned personnel and performing direct patient care in a cost-effective manner. This includes assessing patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluations of physical, cognitive, perceptual, and developmental skills. Your goal is to maximize the level of independence in occupational performance areas along the continuum of life. You will document findings, progress, and instructions for patients and caregivers, while also promoting individual professional growth through participation in professional organizations and community service.
We are committed to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences. As a member of our team, you will model Memorial Hermann's service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized, and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues. We encourage active participation in system/facility committees and taskforces to help identify needs for new departmental programs or revisions to existing ones in response to the changing health environment.
