White Plains Hospital is a proud member of the Montefiore Health System, serving as its tertiary hub of advanced care in the Hudson Valley. As a nationally recognized leader in quality and patient care, the hospital holds Magnet® Recognition for Nursing Excellence, a CMS 5-Star Quality Rating, and the U.S. News & World Report designation as a Best Regional Hospital. The facility is further distinguished by the Healthgrades Outstanding Patient Experience Award and the Press Ganey Guardian of Excellence Award for its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalists (Laborists) to join a well-established, high-performing program within a busy tertiary care setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a high-acuity, well-supported clinical environment featuring a state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery unit with advanced technology. The position supports approximately 2,500 deliveries annually and is designed to foster a collaborative, team-first culture with strong physician and nursing alignment. You will benefit from supportive, accessible leadership and a shared focus on quality care, safety, and patient experience.
The position operates on a full-time basis with 12-hour shifts and 24-hour in-house coverage. A key feature of this role is the elimination of traditional call requirements, allowing for a sustainable work-life balance while maintaining continuous, high-quality care. The hospital's advanced NICU provides robust support for high-acuity cases, ensuring that laborists have access to top-tier resources and specialized care teams.
