About the Team
OBHG is seeking a modern obstetrician to join its Hospitalist team at HealthPark Medical Center in Fort Myers. HealthPark Medical Center is a full-service facility with 267 beds that has served the Fort Myers community since 1991. The hospital features a Level II and Level III NICU, an 18-bed obstetrics special care unit, labor and delivery suites, and mother-baby post-partum rooms.
OBHG has increased physician coverage at this location to ensure two Hospitalists are on staff per 24-hour shift.
About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity to practice obstetrics without traditional on-call or weekend responsibilities. The role is designed for flexibility, allowing physicians to choose their schedule within a 28-day block. Full-time physicians may select 5, 6, 7, or eight 24-hour shifts, while part-time physicians may choose 2, 3, or four 24-hour shifts.
The team provides leadership and advancement opportunities, along with a CME allowance and 401k match. Compensation includes paid medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage.
