About the Practice
A well-established and highly respected obstetrics and gynecology group in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking to expand its team. Currently consisting of four OB/GYN physicians and three advanced practice providers, the group operates out of multiple office locations, with new physicians joining a single office site. Situated in one of the country's fastest-growing regions, the practice offers an exceptional quality of life with easy access to major metropolitan areas, mountain recreation, and outdoor activities.
About the Role
This position offers a unique blend of clinical autonomy and lifestyle flexibility. The affiliated hospital is a full-service facility featuring a Level III nursery with in-house anesthesia, neonatal care, and visiting subspecialty oncology coverage. Because the hospital maintains in-house laborist coverage, physicians are not required to take OB call or perform deliveries. However, those who wish to participate in deliveries have the option to do so and receive a portion of the delivery fee, providing a meaningful opportunity to increase income.
The practice is active and surgical, with a strong focus on minimally invasive techniques including robotics, laparoscopy, and all major GYN surgical procedures. The team performs approximately eight robotic cases per week in a collaborative environment where physicians scrub together. Office-based gynecology is equally robust, encompassing colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, gynecologic ultrasound, hysteroscopy, LEEP, D&C, cystoscopy, and more.
