About the Team

Premier Women's Care of Southwest Florida is a comprehensive, modern, and well-established women's health practice with a nearly 40-year history of providing expert, compassionate care to women of all ages. Voted best in Women's Health in the 2024 Community's Choice Awards, the group includes physicians, midwives, and physician assistants supported by a richly resourced medical community. The practice is affiliated with Unified Women's Healthcare, the largest physician-owned Ob-Gyn practice network in the nation, spanning over 900 affiliated practices and 2,500 providers across 17 states. While benefiting from a national footprint, physician governance and clinical decision-making remain the exclusive domain of the local physicians.

The practice is currently hiring for growth as both the practice and the community thrive. In fall 2025, the group will open a brand new 40,797-square-foot medical office building in Cape Coral, featuring ample space, the latest technology for gynecological and obstetrical care, an expanded urogynecology practice, and state-of-the-art in-office procedure rooms.

About the Role

We are seeking an OBGYN Physician to join our affiliated practice in Cape Coral/Fort Myers. Whether you are a resident or an experienced physician, you will find a supportive environment designed to help you develop your ideal work-life balance. The role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time schedule options and a supportive 1:6 call rotation or better. After-hours phone triage is managed by nursing support staff, and midwives handle the first call for inpatient care. When on call, doctors cover only one hospital at a time; at HealthPark Medical Center, hospitalists manage OB triage and walk-in OB/GYN care.

You will practice in a vibrant medical community supported by the Lee County Medical Society, with strong relationships to a comprehensive array of local subspecialists in maternal-fetal medicine, gynecology-oncology, and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. The practice offers in-office 3D mammography, sonography, and surgery, ensuring you have the tools to provide high-quality care.

Just minutes from the world-class beaches of Florida's Southwest coast, including Sanibel and Fort Myers Beach, our community offers natural beauty and abundant outdoor activities. Residents enjoy a lively downtown with excellent restaurants, nightlife, and cultural activities for children. Opportunities for fishing, diving, paddleboarding, shelling, and hiking abound. The comfortable, mid-sized communities of Fort Myers and Cape Coral are only about two hours from Tampa and Miami, and the area is a paradise for boaters with easy access to Key West.

Cape Coral Hospital As the healthcare hub for Southwest Florida's largest city, this hospital offers comprehensive women's services, emergency care, and minimally invasive robotic surgery. It earned an A grade for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group, was named to Healthgrades America's 100 Best Hospitals for three consecutive years, and was recognized as a birthing-friendly hospital. In 2023, it became the first hospital in the state to achieve the 4-Star Award of 'Florida Quest for Quality Maternity Care Award' Baby Steps to a Baby-Friendly Hospital.
