This position is a vital part of our patient care experience, focused on providing quality customer meals. You will be the face of hospitality in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that patients and visitors receive nutritious, well-prepared meals. Your day will involve assembling and serving food in strict accordance with diet specifications and menu requirements, while maintaining a clean and safe environment. From operating kitchen equipment and managing dish machines to handling register transactions, you will play a key role in the daily operations that keep our facility running smoothly.
This is a PRN (as needed) position located at the Avera Helmsley Center in Pierre. The role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Success in this role depends on the ability to communicate effectively, distinguish speech and sounds, and perform essential physical tasks with adequate visual acuity.
