About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Staffing Coordinator to ensure ideal staffing allocation and scheduling within our network of inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This role exists to maintain optimal staffing levels that support both patient needs and staff welfare. You will embody our commitment to excellence by managing nursing resources with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach.
In this position, you will develop and maintain nursing staff schedules across multiple facilities, coordinating closely with department heads to assess needs and address shortages. Your day will involve monitoring staff qualifications to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, facilitating the onboarding process for new nursing hires, and coordinating ongoing staff development and training. You will also provide reports on staffing trends and budget considerations while resolving scheduling conflicts and handling unexpected staffing challenges.
