About the Role
As a Nursing Assistant at our Gss Nd Mandan Miller facility in Mandan, ND, you will serve as a vital caregiver to residents during evening shifts. This role is designed to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will be an integral member of the nursing team, responsible for delivering age-appropriate care that addresses both the physical and psychological needs of our seniors.
Your day will involve assisting residents with essential activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing, while also providing psychosocial support. You will help residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques, and may assist with range of motion exercises. Beyond direct care, you will play a key role in creating positive dining experiences by assisting with meals and snacks, and you will support wellness and recreational programs to encourage resident participation. Communication with the charge nurse regarding changing conditions and accurate documentation of resident interactions are essential parts of your daily responsibilities.

Requirements
