We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join an acute care hospital setting in Syracuse, New York. This 15-week contract role is designed for a professional who thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. You will work independently with minimal supervision to provide comprehensive patient care, ranging from clinical assessments and treatment planning to patient education and discharge coordination.
The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating complex acute care scenarios and is eager to contribute to a team dedicated to high-quality patient outcomes. While general acute care experience is essential, candidates with a background in oncology are highly preferred.
This position is based in Syracuse, NY, with potential travel to nearby locations within 50 miles (including Auburn, Ithaca, Rome, Oswego, and Cortland) or 60–100 miles (including Rochester, Utica, Binghamton, Watertown, and Canandaigua) as needed. The role operates on a day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM, totaling 42.5 hours per week.
