Banner - University Medicine is actively seeking Nurse Practitioners to join a dynamic Emergency Department care team at our Tucson and South Campuses. As the premier Level 1 Trauma Center in the Southern Arizona region, our highly motivated Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) treat a full range of acuity. We pride ourselves on a collective teamwork culture that values educational enrichment and thrives in a high-acuity environment that inspires growth.
Our ED APP team has forged a strong partnership and high level of trust with our physician colleagues over the years. As the role in the department evolves, we answer the call to meet the ever-changing needs of our community, treating and releasing patients across the lifespan while sharing time between the fast track and the main emergency department.
You will manage the emergency care of patients across the spectrum of presenting complaints. Your day-to-day responsibilities include ordering diagnostic labs and imaging, diagnosing and treating disease, managing and prescribing medications, and performing a wide range of urgent and emergent procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to practice independently while knowing when to involve the attending physician.
We are looking for experienced practitioners who can hit the ground running while displaying ownership and team-based collaboration. However, new graduates are also encouraged to apply and will receive ongoing training and education to support their growth within our fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
We encourage you to apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
