We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a critical capacity supporting the U.S. Armed Forces. This role is centered on clinical operations and providing exceptional care to military applicants seeking to serve. You will be responsible for conducting medical histories and physical examinations to assess service eligibility, ensuring all evaluations meet strict U.S. Armed Forces medical standards.
In this position, you will utilize the MHS Genesis electronic health record system to manage efficient medical documentation and patient care coordination. The role involves leading mental health and general health assessments, coordinating with specialists for additional consultations when necessary, and applying military medical accession standards to evaluate applicants. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and military personnel, to ensure smooth operations and effective patient care within a fast-paced environment.
This is an on-site position located at one of our Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) facilities. Prior experience in a MEPS facility or military healthcare environment is highly preferred, as is familiarity with military medical standards and processing procedures.
Citizenship Requirement: Due to government contract requirements, this position is restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. Applicants must provide documentation verifying their status to qualify.
