The Division of the Alaska Pioneer Homes is dedicated to providing elder Alaskans a home and community, celebrating life through its final breath. Our Sitka Pioneer Home is an Eden Alternative facility located on a beautiful waterfront campus in downtown Sitka, renowned for its scenic views, aromatic rose hedges, and a unique environment that includes contact with plants, flowers, and pets.

As a member of our outstanding nursing and direct care staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical care and medication administration to up to sixty-five elders in a safe, warm, and supportive environment. This position goes beyond clinical duties; it focuses on the growth of the healthcare team and the promotion of an assisted living philosophy that honors the dignity of every resident.
You will work in a 24-hour facility where your contributions directly impact the quality of life for our Alaskan elders. The role requires a blend of clinical expertise and compassionate leadership, ensuring that care is delivered with love, respect, and a commitment to excellence.
