As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will join a team passionate about the patient experience. Under general supervision, you will administer radioactive materials to perform imaging, laboratory, and dynamic function studies that aid physicians in diagnosing and treating diseases. Your day will involve preparing radioactive isotopes, operating nuclear medicine cameras and related equipment, and demonstrating procedures to patients. You will also be responsible for computing necessary doses and ensuring the correct use of both new and existing equipment.
