As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC), you will perform critical procedures involving the application of prescribed radiopharmaceuticals for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Working under the direction of a radiologist, you will utilize independent judgment to obtain high-quality imaging for radiologic diagnosis without the need for constant technical supervision.
You will serve as an ambassador for UTMC in the community, demonstrating the organization's values, services, and mission. This role requires you to assume responsibility for designated areas or procedures while ensuring strict adherence to radiation safety standards and maintaining accurate documentation. You will interact with patients across the entire life cycle—from infants to geriatrics—and collaborate effectively with medical staff, referring physicians, and the broader healthcare team.
This is a full-time position located at the HSC H facility. The role operates on Shift 1 (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) but includes rotation of shifts, weekends, and holidays. As a float position, you will be required to be on call and may travel between locations as needed to support departmental needs.
