As a Driver/Warehouse Associate, you will serve as the vital link between our warehouse operations and our customers. You will work under the direction of the General and Operations Manager to ensure all orders are pulled correctly and inventory remains accurate. Your day will involve unloading and loading incoming and outgoing freight, making timely deliveries, and picking up materials from local vendors.
Beyond logistics, you will be the "eyes and ears" of the company in the field, reporting customer feedback and competitive information to leadership. You will collaborate with Inside Sales to ensure efficient truck routing and maintain a clean environment for both the warehouse and office areas. This role requires a strong safety mindset, particularly regarding driving, material handling, and job site evaluations.
Candidates with a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a valid DOT Med Card are encouraged to apply. We prefer individuals with two years of safe driving experience and forklift certification or experience. Please note that this position requires the ability to lift and move items weighing 40-70 pounds or more, as well as the physical capacity to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop for extended periods.
