As a Night Auditor, you serve as the primary point of contact for our guests during the overnight hours, ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure. This position is vital to maintaining the operational integrity of the hotel, blending high-touch guest service with critical financial and security responsibilities. You will be the face of the hotel when the property is quiet, providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service that maximizes room revenue and occupancy.
Your shift begins with setting the stage for a welcoming morning by preparing lobby coffee and breakfast services. Throughout the night, you will manage the front desk operations, handling guest registrations, modifying reservations, and processing credit card transactions with precision. A key part of your role involves conducting thorough security walks at least four times per shift to ensure the safety of guests and property, while also monitoring for any safety or loss prevention issues.
You will be responsible for balancing the hotel's accounts, including house accounts and credit cards, and completing comprehensive night audit reports. Beyond the numbers, you will act as a concierge, assisting guests with inquiries and resolving any complaints professionally through effective listening. You will also coordinate with other departments to ensure room statuses are accurate and repairs are addressed promptly, while managing key control and lost-and-found items according to strict policies.
Candidates selected for an interview will be evaluated on their ability to demonstrate a positive, upbeat personality and strong problem-solving skills. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who can multi-task effectively, maintain confidentiality, and communicate ideas clearly in a fast-paced environment.
We are committed to fostering a positive, enjoyable work environment where every team member is supported. We value professionalism, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to deliver outstanding customer service. As part of our team, you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of safety and security, adhering to all OSHA, State, and Federal guidelines while working collaboratively with colleagues across all departments.
