As a Guest Service Representative conducting Night Audit, you will serve as the bridge between financial integrity and exceptional guest service. In this role, you will oversee the auditing, posting, and balancing of daily financial transactions. Your work ensures that guests are correctly billed and that credit card transactions are accurately recorded, directly supporting the hotel's financial profitability. Beyond the numbers, you will be the face of the hotel during the night, greeting, registering, and checking out guests with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
Your day involves reconciling daily revenue and expenses, verifying account entries, and settling any discrepancies to maintain accurate guest accounts. You will also manage the front desk operations, including answering calls, handling reservations, and ensuring the lobby area remains clean and stocked. By maintaining open communication between shifts and collaborating with the management team, you help establish a cohesive and efficient work environment.
