The HCA Nurse Residency Program at Wesley Medical Center is a year-long initiative designed to shepherd you through the transition from student nurse to registered nurse. This program provides a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents to promote learning, clinical application, and socialization.
As a Resident I Graduate Nurse, you will be surrounded by a culture that prioritizes your growth and development. You will work collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project while receiving mentoring from experienced nurse leaders. The program offers advanced clinical training in a specialty area, including Pediatrics and Pediatric ICU, ensuring you have the tools necessary to succeed in today's hospital environment.
In this role, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care consistent with the scope and standards of practice. You will serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, providing individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage."
The program features rolling start dates throughout the year, with specific cohorts beginning in February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December. Applications are promptly reviewed.
